Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner · Founder of NCNE
Laura Gabriel is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with eight years of experience treating adults, and the founder of NCNE. She provides every evaluation and follow-up visit herself, by secure video.
In Laura's own words.
As a seasoned Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience treating adults across a wide range of mental health concerns, I bring both clinical expertise and a deeply individualized approach to care. While medication can be an important part of treatment, I believe meaningful mental health care goes far beyond simply writing prescriptions.
I work closely with each client to understand the full picture — your symptoms, stressors, lifestyle, relationships, physical health, patterns, and goals — so we can create a treatment plan that actually fits your life. Depending on your needs, treatment may include thoughtful psychotropic medication management, evidence-informed nutritional and supplement support, lifestyle optimization, and practical strategies that support long-term emotional wellness.
In the first session, my focus is on understanding you and gathering a full clinical picture. We’ll review what brings you in, current symptoms, relevant history, and any past treatments or medications, along with medical history, sleep, stressors, and supports.
I take a warm, direct, and collaborative approach, and you can share at your own pace — there’s no pressure to have everything organized or figured out.
By the end of the visit, I’ll share initial impressions and discuss possible next steps so you leave with clarity about the plan moving forward.
